The whole reason I wanted to do this was for my dad's WorkShop sign! So now I'm finally making it! I'll post the finally product once I'm finished!

:) Pick your image and then if it's words you have to flip it in photoshop (I think you can select it when printing too - not positive) Then print it from an inkjet printer (a laser won't work as well) and then you just put Mod Podge down and stick the paper to it - wait for it to dry - then peel it off, using alil water too. then paint :) and varnish if you want - tada! :)

what am i doing wrong? my paper sticks to the wood and won't come off. should i be drastically thinning the mod p. before painting it on?
Are you using water to get the paper off? I even had to use a scrubby sponge! Don't put the mod pod on the back side of the paper, see if that helps. It's tricky and messy :)
