A yellow rose tattoo for Nanny

Today is my Nanny's birthday!
I am in the process of making her an embroidered yellow rose tattoo!
Here's the story behind it: I was 18, it was Christmas day, I told my whole family I had got my first tattoos, and they all freaked and were pissy at me for the rest of the day! But not my Nanny! Why because she's the sweetest person I know! She told everyone she use to want a yellow rose tattoo, which shocked everyone! If she really did or didn't isn't important, because she make everyone calm down and made the day much better for me!

I just love her so much! I wish I could take her to get a real one :) maybe next year!
Don't worry, Nanny doesn't go online, my uncle bought her a computer, but she gave it back lol Oh Nanny - so posting this won't ruin the surprise!

Hahah aww what a cute story :) I call my grandma, Nanny, too! I love how grandmas stick up for their grandkids. Your embroidery is soo pretty! I am sure she will cherish it!

Wow, you are so talented! That looks beautiful! The story about your Nanny is so cute :) She sounds like an awesome lady!

My grandma is scared of my tattoos haha she thinks they mean I killed someone in jail (...She watches WAY too much Law & Order). For one, I've never been in jail and for two, they are all silly things like cupcakes and faeries!

Happy Birthday Nanny! This story really made me smile, I think you should totally take her to get a tiny yellow rose tattoo somewhere secret, it would be a hilarious day out together!
Your embroidery is getting better and better and better, I adore everything you create!

Thank you everyone! She loved it too! But when I told her I'd take her to get a real one she goes, "Oh no you won't!" lol so I'm wearing her down! ;)

What a wonderful delight of a story. I don't have a grandmother any longer, but a few years back I did convince my mom and aunt to get tattoos. They get little intials, but for the rest of the day they were the coolest chicks in town...LOL!!

The rose is lovely!
