I love the season leading up to Christmas when we all sit in our jammies in the evenings with our hot cocoa in hand and a plate of homemade cookies watching Christmas movies and cartoons. It puts us in a festive mood.

The star garland is magical--thank you for doing a giveaway! xox

Well...on Chritmas eve we all get in our pajamas and jump in the car. We stop and get hot chcocolate and sip the warm heavenliness while driving around looking at all the Christmas lights.
I'ts a very simple and special time and we've done it as long as I can remember. Even if I'm 21 now I still love jumping in the car with my slippers and purple pajamas!

Ever since I've been a baby, my family tradition has always happened on Christmas Eve. We share a dinner of homemade cinnamon rolls (with frosting or crunchy peanut butter), potato sausage, and milk. For 23 years my family has never missed sharing that dinner and this year will be no exception. Growing up I've learned that Christmas, nor presents is what makes it a great tradition, but just being together and sharing some tasty food!

My absolute favorite part of the holidays is decorating the tree with my hubby while we listen to "Happy Holidays" by Bing Crosby.

My dad made us listen to that record on vinyl every Christmas when I was little because, as he said, "It's not Christmas until Bing sings." & that's one of the traditions I've brought over to my little family.

I have so many favourite holiday traditions, I could write an essay about them!!! To narrow it down, one of my most favourite traditions is something my Grandpa has always done...
After Christmas lunch, Grandpa disappears and comes back with one last present each. The present is always something silly, but useful, eg a giant sponge to wash the car, or an oven mitt, we always laugh at what we have been given, and he gets a kick out of it too. It's something his mother always did, and will be a tradition I will pass on too!

I love the star garland, the pink star is my favourite!!

I'll tweet about the giveaway too ;)

That's adorable! I just made one of these stars the other day from the pattern you posted before, but now I want to make a garland too.

This is my first time celebrating "married" Christmas, and I'm Jewish, so I'm going to try really hard to make it special for my husband and establish some new traditions of our own, like making and decorating gingerbread cookies.

My favorite tradition is making horribly decorated Christmas sweatshirts. We get terrible fabric and lots of puff paint and go to town! Its always ridiculous and fabulous. Then the whole family wears them on Christmas Eve. :)

my fave holiday tradition is being woken up by my parents, waiting at the top of the stairs for kyle (my bro) to wake up and also for my dad to get the video camera ready and then he films us coming downstairs and opening our stockings...and then of course more throughout christmas day as well. haha, it was definitely cuter when we were younger but the fact that he still does it and we're 24 & 27 is pretty cute!

Yay Becky! Super cute giveaway!!
Our favourite Christmas Eve tradition is cuddling up on the lounge and watching The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and The Nightmare Before Christmas!! So fun!
Our Christmas Eve days are usually the same each year too - cooking anything needed for the big day, filling up the blow up pool and having fam and friends over for a late afternoon BBQ, all while listening to old Bing and Frank vinyls; then they all go home and we cuddle up and watch our flicks :)
Ahh Aussie Xmas!! Love, love, love!

Oh yeah, I'm a follower too!

Wishing you and your family a truly lovely Christmas season!
Merriest Merries!

My favorite Christmas tradition is visiting my Italian family, eating stuffed shells, and going to midnight mass. Then coming home and choosing one gift from under the tree. We did this as children and I have continued the tradition as an adult!

The Star Garland is amazing!

I lovelovelove the garland! My favorite holiday tradition is visiting the Fatima Shrine in Holliston, MA. Honestly, I'm not very religious, but they have a walkable rosary open all year long, and at Christmas it is all decked out in the most beautiful lights. It would put Scrooge in the holiday mood!
