Crocheting a Granny Square - How To!

Here you go! Many of you all have asked to explain or do a "how to" video for crocheting a granny square! I want EVERYONE to be making grannies, so here you go! Please if you have questions after just ask in the comments! Below is how to change the yarn color! Hopefully I made it easy! No super fancy crochet terms! If you make a granny tonight will you photograph it and add it to Strumpet's Crumpets Craft Group on Flickr!? Please!! :) Okay, ready, set, get making grannies!!!

Aww I'm so sad that I can't crochet for at least another month! Stupid wrist! Oh well I have this bookmarked and I'll definitely be trying this as soon as my wrist is healed. :)

I have been wanting something like this for so long so I can learn how to crochet. If you want to make one super big granny square do you just keep going like you were showing here until it is the size you want?

i lied, i didn't actually try to make a granny square...but i did watch the video to see if maybe i could...i just don't have any crochet needles and also, it looks really freaking hard, haha.

but i love hearing your voice, is that creepy? vlogs are fun!!

becky this is so awesome!! it's strange to see it in reverse.. at first i was like, "WHAT! She's crochet's left handed! WOW!" then I realized that it's just cause I'm not used to seeing someone ELSE crochet! bwahah! and once again we have the same color nail polish goin on right now! ;)

Ok I got lost at the "Mine is just a J" part. hahahaha I think I will leave this to you lovely ladies and just keep getting my crochet stuff made for me. :P I will stick to my drawing, painting, sculpting and cake making. :P but..... I did have to bookmark this..... just in case. :D Great Vlog.... or whatever you kids call it now a days.

I made a mini granny square!!! It is only two rounds and I haven't changed colour yet but if you want to check it out I have posted a pic on my blog. Thanks again for posting this video as it reignited my need to learn crochet.

Great tutorial! I am new to the crochet world. So far, I'm still struggling to maintain a sraight square, haha. Just Ordered "The Happy Hooker" on Amazon, heard it was a great beginners book. After I attempt the granny square I'm going to feature your video, hope you don't mind. Oh, BTW, meet your 604th follower ;)
