I'm excited to announce The Valentine Craft Swap hosted by Amber and me!! Because the Strumpet's Ornament Swap was such a success I thought let's do it again as soon as possible!!! I love the idea of Valentine's Day, and now everyone can get sometime special!
So here's the scoop: ANYONE, anywhere can participate in the Valentine Craft Swap! You will only have to make one AWESOME craft to swap! Your creation will need to be completed by Feb. 4th. If you'd like to participate all you have to do is comment with your name and email me at StrumpetsCrumpetsCrafts@gmail.com! You have til Wednesday Jan 12th to signup! By Friday the 14th Amber and I will pair you up with your swap partner and email you! Then you email your partner letting them know who you are and ask for their address! So you'll receive a very awesome Valentine and have a new crafty friend! You do not need to be a blogger to participate, I know there's a bunch of you out there (I use to be one)- come on! Comment! Play with us! :) Your Valentine Craft can be any medium; crochet, sewn, felt, buttons, paper, fabric, ribbon, string, etc. Now since you are only making one, make it extra awesome! I think that's it!! If for any reason you are not able to meet the swap date let me and your swap partner know, things happen just let us know so they can get a new partner! You can post your progress and finished crafts here at the Strumpet's Crumpets Craft flickr group! Ok spread the word about the Valentine Craft Swap! - ready, set, sign up!!! :)

Hi, I have just recieved a nasty email from a different swap saying that she is going to shame me for not responding to her, when I have actually sent my swap on time. so now I am worried that you may have emailed me, and I have not recieved yours either? I have my swap done, but still have not had a reply to who I am suppose to send it to. I don't want to be "named and shamed". If you read this, could you just reply under me to let me know? Or send me a link to the person that is my buddy??

I think there needs to be a screening process for swaps (joking of course). This was my very first swap ever. I sent my valentines craft to my partner before the deadline and I have YET to receive anything. I guess courtesy went out the door with committment. I'm not one to complain but I think it's just plain irresponsible. Anywho... Thanks for hosting this swap anyway... It's probably a tedious task and we all appreciate it no matter what happens.
