Cheekiest Bridal Shower

My sister, Lauren and my best friend, Kris gave me the most adorable Bridal Shower!
Or should I say CHEEKIEST Bridal Shower!
It was a tea party! They chose Tea Rose Cottage in Ybor (one of my most favorite spots), ordered Gigi's Cupcakes, made AMAZING Cheeky Housewife Kits, and a super cute bridal bingo game!
Everything was completely perfect! They are too good to me!

I found this dress at Pinup Girl Clothing and had to have it!
It's pink circus themed fabric! It's too perfect!
I found a pink circus print dress haha and had to wear it for the bridal shower
Lauren had her very talented fellow, Curtis Elliott, design the invitations
Sonic Print printed them! ;) They came out so cute!
Bridal Shower Invites!
Now I'm sure you noticed all the photos have been iPhone photos haha nice!
Have no fear, Jenn from Jennifer Martin Photography took the legit photos!
I cannot wait to see them! I'm so stoked! Jenn and I became friends via our blogs! Crazy huh!?
She is the sweetest girl I've ever met. And the day Brian proposed I knew she'd be our wedding photographer, but there's a little bump.....a baby bump (she's due 2 days before our wedding hahaha)!
I could NOT be more happy for her and her husband! That's gonna be one talented kiddo! :)

Support Equal Love

I'm angry today that there's voting going on to decide if people can love one another. It's completely crazy! If you agree repost this =love I made! It's so important! #equalLOVE
I'm angry today that there's voting going on to decide if people can love one another.
I'm sick over it. It's completely crazy!
I have two great aunts, who have been together since they were very young, they love one another, they have a home together, they are each others life, but because the government says it is illegal for them to marry one another. They have no say in each others health decisions if one is ill, they will not receive the others life insurance or pension. That's ridiculous!

As a teenager I never believed marriage was important, I thought it was a silly old ritual that was out dated and based on rotten religion and ownership of women. Haha then I saw how in love my parents were, I LOVED going through their wedding photos, then I realized that is what I wanted in life; someone to go through life with - side by side - a team - a fellow adventurer!
Then Brian proposed, gave me a ring, and now we get to be married! Walk down an aisle together with our friends and family watching.......and the government says it's all ok because he's a boy and I'm girl.
What about my great aunts who have spend over 50 years together? I'm so frustrated and so sad.

I wish love and happiness for EVERYONE.
And I believe we have no right to vote on love, it's not a matter of gay or straight! We are all human.
Carpooling ❤
Everyone should be treated equal - period. END OF STORY.

Help spread the =LOVE

I shouldn't have to write this, but if you don't have anything nice to say (in the comments)
then please don't say anything at all. Thank you.

How's the wedding planning?

What planning!? haha
I never have time to think about planning our wedding! I tell Brian we should just elope! But I really want a party AND wear my dress! So that's my problem!
I do think about it often and whenever I have a minute I Pin-terest all my wedding ideas! Here are a few below and a link to my board!

So will the planning bug just bite some day soon? I'm excited to marry my wonderful fellow, I just don't have the focus or time! I have some awesome ideas! I need to pick a date huh? That's be a start! Any advice for me?

Marquee Alphabet Lights

Last year or so I found light up letters on UrbanOutfitters, and I really thought it'd be cool to have a B for Becky, but they had no B's - whompwhomp! Fast forward to this year when Brian proposed and we started planning our wedding, which is circus/carnival themed and then I wanted TWO B's! Get it like Barnum & Bailey! Now please know I don't actually like Barnum & Bailey because they use animals in their circus and I'm VERY against that, but aren't the B's fitting and awesome!?! :)
So I emailed UrbanOutfitters and asked if they would ever have the B's again, I got an email saying no (took like 3 months for them to email me been ps). I was so disappointed, but thought maybe my dad and I could do it ourselves. But then one day I saw an etsy email with MLevin's shop in it and a light up G! I seriously couldn't email him fast enough - I was so stoked! He was awesome! He emailed back and forth right away and told me he could start that afternoon! He made them so fast and SO well. They're made of wood, metal, and all the lighting gadgetry. They were shipped to our office and I opened them up right then and plugged one in! Perfect!
These B's will be great for the circus/carnival theme of our wedding, plus I can put them at home in the living room!
The B's are about 16+ inches, I put the dunny there to show you their size. Then I realized many of you may not know what a dunny is - it's a blind box vinyl toy that is 3 inches tall. Bahahaha sorry! So that little guy is 3 inches - gives you an idea of the B's size.
3 inch dunny
So the moral of this story is:
 Buy from independent artists!
(I still LOVE OU ;))
and I couldn't be happier with this etsy seller -Mlevin! I want to get an E now for Elias' bedroom!

engagement ring photos

As you may know I love taking photos!
I thought I'd photograph my beautiful engagement from my beautiful fellow!
(a few of you have asked to see better photos of it, not just iPhone photos)
He surprised me on Thanksgiving day during a Scrabble game! It was incredible!
The ring was absolutely perfect! He picked it out all by himself - he knows me so well! I rarely wear jewelry, and NEVER wear rings, so wearing this will take some getting use to!
But I think I can handle it! ;)  The ring is antique inspired, not actually antique. Would you wear an antique ring? Would you need to know who owned it before you - I would, like a whole bio on the person! I may believe in jinxes! ;)
I used my Canon 7D with a 18mm to 250mm lens. I used natural light then edited them in Photoshop.
I told Brian yesterday that when I'm 105 I'll still look at this ring and giggle at how wonderful it is, ditto to him and his wonderfulness! ;)

For those of you who are in the Strumpet's Ornament Swap remember to get them in the mail today (unless you've made plans with your swap bud). I hope your Friday is great!!

Here's today's Elf move ps!

My Weekend

It was an extra long weekend thanks to Thanksgiving! Both my brother and sister were in town, which always makes me happy! Lauren and I took the little bit to Busch Gardens, which I haven't been to in years! We had a fun time and the weather was perfect! My aunt Jackie cooked the MOST incredible Thanksgiving meal, as usual! ;) Brian proposed via scrabble!!!! So wonderful! Still have a goofy lovey dovey grin! We did some cleaning, sleeping in, online shopping, snuggling with Mickey, and hanging out with family! It was pretty perfect! How was your Thanksgiving and the rest of the weekend!?

We're Engaged! Triple Word Score!

This Thanksgiving was a keeper :)
After the Farley gang ate and we were all sitting around chatting, we decided to play scrabble! Brian was messing with the camera, but that's normal, so I didn't pay much attention. He did seem overly excited to play scrabble, though he is very good at Words With Friends, still his enthusiasm was surprising. He started shaking up the bag and picking out letters - I told him, "No taking the good letters when I'm not looking! -wink" My sister went first with a three letter word, then I went, but I wasn't feeling to completive and a bit ADD-ish so I played a three letter word too. Not too many spots for Brian to go! So on his turn he seemed fluster and he was taking longer than normal, then he put down WEDRING, but I only noticed that NS didn't make a word and started saying, "you can't play that" I take the game very seriously haha!  Then he got down on one knee and showed me the most beautiful ring I've ever seen!!!! I was SO surprised! My heart skipped a few beats! It was the most amazing special moment!! He got me good! I had NO idea! It was just so perfect! My family went bonkers and so did I!!! ps He had been messing with the camera because it takes video and he captured the WHOLE thing - it's hilarious and incredibly sweet all wrapped together!!! He is the BEST!
I have been on cloud 9 ever since that game! Oh what an incredible Thanksgiving!
Aunt Jackie's cooking was wonderful too ;)
We are still smiling SO big! He's been calling me his fiancĂ© all day and telling me how excited he is, it's pretty darn cute! It's the best feeling!
I just love him so much! I have so much to be thankful for and now even more so! I just had to share our excitement with you all! I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving too!!
ps just SO happy! Marriage proposal via scrabble wins my heart all over again! ;)
